The Catch 22 enjoyed another great fishing season. Now that the season is in the history book, it is the memories of the anglers, crew, laughs and of course the fish that provoke thoughts of the anticipation and excitement of what is to come in up coming season. This fishing season looks to be a great one! To get in on the action be sure to book your charter early.

The inshore action for stripe bass and fluke was just great all season long, a true testament to conservation and meaningful regulations. Stripe Bass were plentiful all season long and were still biting as the boat was winterized. Many trips saw early limits and gave anglers a chance to cash in on the outstanding fishing. As for the fluke fishing, this was the best season we can remember in years. There where good numbers of fish, many trips limited out, and these where quality fish in the 4-6 pound range with many doormats mixed in.

On the offshore front the shark fishing in the last 3 years is just red hot. The action is ever present with Blue sharks and we have had a great number of Mako's and Thresher sharks. Tuna (Yellow, Blue and Longfin) has also been very good with the added benefit of some light tackle action catching Mahi-mahi.

This fishing season promises to be even better and the crew of the Catch 22 remains committed to making your day special filled with memories for a lifetime. To get in on the action reserve your choice dates early.
