USCG licensed Master Captain Rich, has been prowling the waters
off the Atlantic for over 20 years. He is an engineer by trade
and a genuine sportfisherman at heart. This combination gives
the charter client the best combination for sportfishing, attention
to detail (engineering trait) and his ability to adapt to client
needs (not often seen in charter captains).
Rich grew up on the south shore of Long Island, New York fishing with his father in the great world of offshore fishing. Rich continued to fish whenever he could during his college days and throughout his engineering career. Rich's passion for fishing hasn't stopped even when he got married to Wendy or the birth of his children. It continued to grow with greater successes of offshore victories.
Rich currently runs the Catch 22 charter out of Montauk ,New York. This location enables him fast access to the finest fishing grounds in the world. As stated before, this is not a full time profession for Rich, but rather a passion. His sole enjoyment is seeing the first time fisherman or fisher women catch their very first fish or weighing a prize winning tournament fish.
